It is common for many celebrities to travel to Dubai to spend their vacations. For that same reason, the prominent Indian singer and music composer Rahul Vaidya was also in Dubai. He shared some shocking visuals live from the streets of the city. These graphics come from Cars For You on YouTube. They capture a scenario where a Rolls Royce Cullinan Mansory Edition is seen stuck on the road with almost half of its body inundated in water. That is when a Toyota FJ Cruiser is trying to tow it out. In another separate post, Rahul Vaidya himself is seen crossing the water-filled streets to enter a mall with his shoes in his hands and folded jeans.
It is bizarre to witness such extreme weather conditions, affecting the lives of everyone in one of the most popular cities in the world. In fact, some photos on the news and social media also showcase water entering the airport. Additionally, the highways were clogged with water and the Middle East financial centre remained gridlocked as the city received its heaviest rainfall on record on Wednesday. In fact, the 259.5 mm rainfall was the highest recorded in the last 75 years. Needless to say, there are power outages and submerged cars all around the city.

This is a clear indication of the environmental challenges the world is dealing with. It becomes our responsibility and the need of the hour to lead a sustainable lifestyle which supports our combined efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality soon. Until then, we can only hope and pray that Mother Nature stays merciful and we don’t face the wrath of calamities.
