We have always emphasized on the potential of the Indian Automobile Market and always state that it is probably the most rapidly growing market and the most luring one as well and confirming it are the brand like Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Ferrari etc. who wish to enter it.
Not only the super luxurious brands, in fact automakers which are popular for their economical yet competitive products also wish the same. the best example for it is the Malaysian auto manufacturer Proton, who will soon be rolling its cars on the Indian turf. Initially the brand will come loaded with with a very strong lineup comprising of a sedan Proton Savvy, a small car Proton Saga and a SUV Proton Exora. Earlier the brand was on a look out for a company ready to join hands with it and make its entry easier, but now the brand is all ready to enter alone.
It is said that for the time being it will use the Argentum Motor’s facility in Surajpur (Noida) and currently is busy re-engineering the above models to suit the Indian market. The company also has plans of sourcing a diesel engine soon after its debut.
