Pratap Bose Shares Design Sketches of Scorpio
These are the sketches that Pratap Bose shared. It gives us a valuable insight into how the Scorpio N came into being after being conceptualised. The images show that the Scorpion was an important factor while designing the SUV. Interestingly, the length of the Scorpio N was always supposed to be longer compared to the existing model. The side profile highlights the black side pillars enabling it to have that floating roof effect. The front fascia also was sorted out pretty early on looking at these sketches. It has the typical vertically slatted Mahindra grille with a broad bonnet and sporty skid plate.

However, one thing that is different in these sketches compared to the actual version is the taillamps. The rear section seems to have gotten shape at a later stage. It is clear from the sketches that the boot lid might feature a LED light slab connecting the taillamps. However, in the final production version, we get the vertical taillamps and no connected section. This represents that not all the elements of initial sketches make it to production. Nevertheless, this is still a great glimpse inside the design division of Mahindra.
