Youngster Sits Atop Moving Mercedes in Pune
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police promptly took action, apprehending two youths involved in ‘stuntbaazi’ for sitting on the moving Mercedes car on Thursday. The video recording of the incident was extensively shared on social media and quickly went viral. This short video was shot on Thursday around 12:30 pm on Telco Road. The video shows a young individual atop a moving car, really enjoying the act and making gestures for additional excitement. The safety implications of such reckless behavior sparked immediate concerns. Many internet users were quick to demand a strict disciplinary action against those involved.
Viewers of the video went on to highlight the apparent lack of concern or fear shown by the young man. Clearly, he can be seen happily indulging in the rather unlawful act with no fear of the cops. In response, the police quickly swung into action. It apprehended both the youth and the driver of the Mercedes. Charges have been filed under Sections 279 (Rash driving) and 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code. Additionally, Sections 184 (Dangerous driving), 119, and 177 (Violation of traffic signs and signals) of the Motor Vehicles Act are also applicable in this case.

‘Prize’ for ‘Stuntbaazi’
