Mumbai police will fine Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma for riding pillion on RE Himalayan and Bajaj Pulsar 220 without wearing helmets
Recently, photographs of Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma riding pillion on motorcycles in two different episodes went viral. While Big B was riding a Royal Enfield Himalayan, Anushka Sharma was spotted on a Bajaj Pulsar 220. Interestingly, despite a huge fan following, both actors faced heavy criticism for riding without a helmet. In fact, many fans even approached Mumbai police to request them to register a complaint against the two celebrities.

Amitabh Bachchan Rides Fan’s Royal Enfield Himalayan
Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan took a lift from an admirer to reach his shoot location on Monday. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma took a lift from her bodyguard after facing a roadblock. While the mega-star was seen on a Royal Enfield Himalayan, the actress rode pillion on a black-colored Bajaj Pulsar 220. In both cases, none of the actors wore a helmet.

Addressing his followers on Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture of himself on the Himalayan. The supporting caption read:”Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to the location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner.” Reacting to the post, a Twitter user wrote – “Missing helmets for both rider and pillion” and tagged @MumbaiPolice to ‘please take note.’

Anushka Sharma hitched a ride on a Bajaj Pulsar 220 after her high-end Range Rover got stuck on a road blocked by a fallen tree. To reach the shoot on time, she asked her bodyguard to give her a ride on his motorcycle. While many fans appreciated the down-to-earth attitude of the actress, many slammed her for not wearing a helmet. Recently, even Kriti Sanon was seen arriving at a movie premiere as a pillion on a Royal Enfield Bullet 350. However, acting responsibly, she wore a helmet.
