The Multix gets all-independent front and rear suspensions. As we discovered during a short drive of the Multix, most undulations and speed humps are dealt in a way that the passenger remains in total comfort. The ride quality displayed by this vehicle can easily match that of some expensive cars, we kid you not!
A highlight of the Multix is its X-Port (seen above). The X-Port is mounted on the transmission of the vehicle. It cam power various electrical equipment and even mechanical water pumps and electric generators!
Polaris Eicher Multix Features
While the Multix doesn’t have the creature comforts one can find in passengers cars that retail at the same price point (read- air conditioning, power steering, disc brakes), it does get some features that enhance the safety and ruggedness. The Multix gets-
- Tubular frame structure
- Roll-over protection system
- Independent front and rear suspensions
Let’s be honest, the Multix is nothing like anything else out there. True, it misses out on creature comforts, but the makers of Multix never intended to pit this vehicle against passenger cars. Instead, the Multix should be seen as not just a personal mobility solution but also as a highly practical offering that can come in handy for most small-scale businessmen and farmers in Tier II and Tier III cities. The Multix is a 3-in-1 vehicle that can switch between roles of being a people carrier, goods carrier and even a power generator!
