There might be a rise in the prices of electricity generation and fertilizers. Big cities have a well-established CNG power station network for vehicles and most of the taxi and fleet operators have CNG-powered vehicles. Tata has already announced that it will increase its range of EV products even further which is a positive sign since it has over 60% market share of EVs in India. If the prices of CNG and petrol and diesel fuels keep rising, the EV industry might stand to benefit from it.
