Passengers Pushing Chinese EV Up a Hill
This post comes from daily_over_dose on Instagram. It captures unique visuals where a man is driving behind an EV and recording the entire conundrum. The doors of the electric car are open and the people are seen pushing the car up a slope. It is a narrow road which makes it quite dangerous. Perhaps the EV is out of charge or the slope is too inclined for it to power through. In any case, the occupants have to physically push the vehicle to keep it moving. After doing it for some time, the electric car finally starts to move on its own.

It goes without saying that netizens would bombard such posts with their creative comments. They were comparing it to cheap electric scooters. However, a few people were quick to point out that this could be a fake video. The reason is quite simple. If the vehicle was not moving on its own, two people can’t simply push it up a slope so effortlessly. They are barely moving their feet. Hence, it is possible that people created this reel just to garner views. Social media engagement is becoming an obsession for a whole bunch of people.

We see what the netizens are pointing out. Therefore, even we share the same opinion. It is just not possible to push a vehicle up a slope so easily. Hence, it has to be a fake video just to create buzz on the internet. Sure enough, it has worked as it has over 5,500 likes. As internet users, we must be careful not to believe everything that people post on social media. Also, we must be responsible netizens and not spread such content around.
