The Tata Safari garnered a ton of interest right from the launch last year. The XUV700, on the other hand, exceeded all expectations after receiving over 70,000 bookings within the first month of the launch. The waiting periods for the deliveries of the XUV700 have gone well into 2023 for some buyers. The semiconductor supply shortage is the prime reason for the delay in production. The Pakistanis react to various videos involving Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari in the past. This time around, the two SUVs are in their diesel automatic variants. The video starts with the driver of the Safari launching it well and starting in the front. However, soon enough, the XUV700 was able to overtake the Safari and win the race convincingly. But in the second attempt, both the SUVs started the race head to head. But the more powerful engine of the XUV700 is always able to emerge victorious out of the two. The Pakistani YouTubers seem quite impressed by both, Safari and XUV700. While they like the Safari at the launch, they were mighty impressed by the XUV700 and its interiors.

The Tata Safari comes with a sole 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine making 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There is the option of either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices of the Tata Safari start at Rs 14.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 23.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The Mahindra XUV, on the other hand, comes with the most powerful engine in the segment. It is a 2.2-litre diesel that outputs 185 PS and 450 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of choosing between either a 6-speed manual or an automatic. The prices range between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 22.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
