For many Indians, moving abroad is part of their career plan. While you can find Indians doing a variety of jobs in foreign lands, they are quite prominent in driving roles. Naturally, they ended up working with colleagues from other South Asian countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. Since all these countries share language and culture, communication is pretty easy. A new video from Canada shows a warm interaction between two truck drivers from India and Pakistan.

As you can see in the YouTube video by Karan Chogawan, the life of a truck driver in Canada seems quite peaceful and secure. Along with truck driving, he seems to have enough time to spend with his wife and child. The popular YouTuber has been working in Canada for around 5-6 years and the truck driving job seems quite nice and fun. In the later part, Karan meets a long-time colleague, Usman Gill for a scheduled cargo change. It turns out Usman hails from Pakistan. They both sit down for a quick chat and a coffee.
During the chat, Usman Gill reveals that he has been in Canada for over 10 years. He even completed his university education in the country. Since then, Usman has been working in the trucking industry. As part of his job, Usman often runs into Karan Chogawan to switch trucks. Both share a nice camaraderie and converse in Hindi. Karan even gets him a coffee from Tim Hortons. Overall, it is a nice glimpse of immigrant life in Canada.

Despite many differences between the two countries, immigrants have to collaborate in foreign countries and live peacefully with each other. Whether it is Indians, Pakistanis, or Bangladeshis, they are all seen as people from the sub-continent out there. Additionally, the above video offers a good insight into the life of truck drivers in Canada. For many immigrant people, trucking could be a decent part-time job or even a great full-time job.
