Aftermarket car modification houses often create interesting customizations to make old cars look new and this is a perfect example of that
In this latest instance, a car shop converted an old Toyota Innova to Crysta. It is not every day that we see a car owner opting for a complete overhaul of their old car. Nevertheless, the last few years have showcased that prominent car modification shops have emerged that can undertake such extensive customizations. Innova is an immensely successful MPV which is known for its reliability. Hence, people often transform the exterior while keeping the engine the same.
Old Toyota Innova Converted to Crysta
The specifics of this case stem from innova conversion crysta on YouTube. This is a channel dedicated to cases where old Innova owners approach this car shop to get their cars transitioned into the new models. On this occasion, we are able to see the finished car along with its owner. To be honest, it is almost impossible to tell that this is not the stock model due to the components installed on it. Most likely, the mechanics have installed the original components from Toyota. That is why they looks so accurate. At the front, we get to see the rectangular project headlamps flanking the large grille section.
Apart from that, the bumper is brand new and it also hold fog lamps on the extreme edges. There is also a sporty and rugged black section in the lower part of the bumper. On the sides, this MPV gets 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome belts on the wheel arches, side steps to enhance ingress and egress characteristics, chrome surround on the windows, chrome door handles and fuel lid. You would also witness the roof rails and window visors on the sides. Finally, at the rear, there is a roof-mounted spoiler, connected LED taillamps, chrome garnish on the bootlid, a sporty bumper and a solid bull rod. All in all, there is nothing to give away its true identity, at least from the outside. However, the interior remains unchanged apart from the comfortable seats.
My View
This is not the first instance of such conversion. Still, it still fascinates me how these car shops are able to design a car so accurately. While many of you might not understand the immediate appeal of something like this, people who love their old cars and know that their cars’ mechanicals are in top condition can go for such exterior treatment to make their cars look modern. In this manner, they get to keep their old car with a refreshed fascia. I shall keep bringing more such cases to our readers in times to come.
