Nowadays, there is a significant surge in the popularity of aftermarket car modifications. These car shops have greater access to technology, innovative ideas, and authentic spare parts, enabling them to provide customized versions of nearly any car to meet buyers’ specific requirements. However, it’s essential to note that the majority of car modifications in India are not in compliance with the law. Therefore, it’s crucial to consider this aspect before proceeding with any customizations. One advisable step is to visit your local Regional Transport Office (RTO) and seek their guidance regarding the planned modifications. If they grant approval, you can have these modifications documented on your Registration Certificate (RC). This way, you can avoid potential issues with authorities in the future.
