Conversion of Old Thar into New – Exterior
The video captures all the changes made to the SUV. On the outside, this Thar features the modern LED projector rounded headlamps, vertically slated grille, broader bumper, chunky wheel arches, stylish alloy wheels, fog lamps, LED taillamps, reinstalled front windshield, auxiliary lights on the front bumper, etc. The wiper blades and the front windshield give a hint as to which generation of Thar does this SUV belong to. Apart from that, it is almost identical to the newer Thar and one could easily mistake one for the other.
Interior
The changes on the inside are not that intense. Although the entire cabin is finished in a beige interior theme and soft-touch materials, the original dashboard and steering wheel have been retained. That said, this soft-touch material, which is finished in a diamond-cut pattern to wrap the entire roof from the inside, as well as sides at the rear seat, surely looks premium. Even the upholstery sports this colour and neatly complements the black interior. While the position and material of the components inside the cabin remain the same, their appearance is drastically enhanced with this material.
