In this post, we shall take a look at the details of an old Kia Seltos which has been converted into the new Seltos. Now this is something we have been encountering a lot in the last few years. Aftermarket car shops have gained access to genuine spare parts suppliers for various car brands. As a consequence, they are able to transform any vehicle to its latest generation model without much fuss. For now, let us take a look at the details of this recent case.
Old Kia Seltos Converted to New Seltos
This post stems from Om Car Accessories on YouTube. The video captures the owner of the car shop as he explains how he was able to customize the old Seltos of the customer. At the front, the bumper has been swapped with that of the new Seltos. In fact, the car shop also took off the old logo to ensure that the original identity was almost completely destroyed. However, the biggest change at the front comes in the form of the grille and headlamp area. One can barely recognize the original model.
Moving to the rear, the modification is even more impressive. The taillamps have been replaced with the new unit which is a connected light panel which runs the width of the boot lid. Additionally, it even gets the roof-mounted spoiler, a new rear wiper and a thoroughly painted boot door. The car shop owner mentions that the LED reflectors will be added to the rear end of the vehicle. All in all, from the front and the rear, it is nearly impossible to know that this is not the latest model.
My View
I have been reporting about such converted models for a while now. Car shops have become skilled and have gained access to a whole range of automobile spare parts from within India and abroad. As a result, they are able to create unique products based on the preferences of their customers. This is a prime example of that. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
