Old Hyundai Creta Converted to New Model
This video comes from HER GARAGE on YouTube. The vlogger has the owner of the prominent car house with her. They are working on the 2020 Creta to make it look like the new model. At present, they have removed the existing components from the front and the rear. The team of trained professionals have installed a new front grille, bumper, bonnet, and headlights by replacing the tie member altogether. That has ensured that there are no complications and the new parts are easily able to fit. Even the windshield washer had to be replaced.
Apart from that, the side section is surprisingly similar to the old model. Hence, there are not many alterations needed. Starting from the fenders to door profiles, everything has been carried forward from the old Creta. Coming to the rear, one gets to witness the new connected LED light bar to join the LED taillamps. Also, there are new elements like the bumper, windshield wiper, shark fin antenna, boot and spoiler. In essence, every component has been neatly integrated without any welding. That is a testament to the quality of the work. Also, it would cost around Rs 2 lakh for this conversion. The new components come with the base coat and need to be painted as per the colour of the vehicle.

Author’s Note
We have come across tons of modifications in the aftermarket where the entire vehicle has been transformed. But this is one such case where the exterior has not been customized randomly. Instead, there is already a proper shape which the modifier is aiming for. In this case, they are even changing the interior. It remains to be seen what they actually go for. We would like to advise our readers to be cautious about the RTO regulations regarding such modifications.
