Ola S1 Pro in Ocean
The vlog has been uploaded by Aki D Hot Pistonz on YouTube. It is a popular channel with over 2.58 million subscribers. The vlogger has been driving the S1 Pro for around 7 months. He has done all sorts of tests with it. This time around, he performs acceleration, range, and hill ascent tests and finally takes it to the ocean for a complete water test. For the first part, the S1 Pro is compared against popular scooters and bikes. On every occasion, the electric scooter out-accelerates all the other two-wheelers for speeds upto around 100 km/h. The top speed is a cool 116 km/h.

The range test also bears promising results. However, it is the ocean test that is quite remarkable. We know that EVs contain tons of electronic components including the motor and battery. Hence, one might be a bit cautious about taking it in water. But the vlogger takes his S1 Pro deep into the ocean. In fact, the scooter is inundated in the water almost completely. Only the LCD display stays out. The YouTuber is barely able to get the scooter out of the water as the waves get stronger and he goes into the ocean further.

What We Think
While the vlogger shows that the EV is working fine after taking it out of the water and its components including the charging point are safe, we will never recommend it to anyone. Such acts could prove to be fatal within no time. It is not even about the scooter. You will risk your life if you are riding a scooter into the ocean. Make sure to never replicate such stunts as they can be extremely perilous. We already lose thousands of lives each year on roads due to careless activities. Let us not promote this culture any further.
