Recently, we told you how to book Ola Series S online. Now, in a new development, the Ola Electric scooter that has received over 100,000 orders, has gained the support of none other than Shri Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group. The same came to light through a Tweet from the famous business tycoon.
Speaking on the great response that the yet-to-be-launched e-scooter has received, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola Electric has said,”Indias EV revolution is off to an explosive start. Huge thanks to the 100,000+ revolutionaries whove joined us and reserved their scooters. I am thrilled by the tremendous response from customers across India for our first electric vehicle. Ola Electric Scooter Launch Date, Price and Specs
The official launch of the Ola Series-S will likely happen in the coming weeks. The latest entrant to the Indian EV space has already confirmed that it would soon commence production at its newly set up facility. While we’re yet to get an official word on the Ola Electric scooter launch date, there are good chances that the new model will be introduced before this year’s festive season sets in. That said, with another spike in the ongoing health crisis on the anvil, there could be some delays in the introduction of this e-scooter. Even the prices of the new model will be announced only closer to the official launch but there are good chances that they would undercut the competition by a decent margin. This might help the new entrant capture a lot of market and even leave a sizeable dent in the popularity of the rivals. The order book of the Series-S has been thrown open online and you can pre-book the new model for a refundable token amount of Rs 499.
