With the MoveOS 2 software update, the Ola S1 Pro will offer music playback through Bluetooth connectivity
Ola S1 Pro, arguably the most talked about EV of late, will soon receive the MoveOS 2.0 software update that will enable Bluetooth connectivity. The upcoming update will unlock many new features that were previously promised but not made available on the Ola electric scooter. These features will include music playback, cruise control, navigation and a companion app.

In a recent video tweet, CEO Bhavish Agarwal teased the music playback feature by playing a popular number on the built-in speaker and dancing to the pop track. In the short video clip, Bhavish can be seen grooving to the hit song ‘Bijlee Bijlee’, thereby showing that the users of the Ola S1 Pro will be able to enjoy music playback with the roll out of the MoveOS 2.0 update.
Other than this, Bhavish Agarwal has previously shown other highlights of the MoveOS 2.0 update. Among the most significant of these is the navigation feature, which is something that was promised at the time of the launch but has been conspicuous by its absence so far. To tease the launch of this feature Bhavish came up with an idea of taking his wife out for an ice cream and later Tweeted about it by embedding the video of him entering the address of the ice cream parlour in the navigation system.

The MoveOS 2.0 update is likely to roll out towards the end of this month. It will become the first significant update for the e-scooter since its launch a few months ago. Other than unlocking a host of new features, the update should be even responsible for bug fixes and performance upgrades. The deliveries of the second batch of Ola S1 Pro scooters will also likely start towards the month-end.
