Honda is expected to launched the expected facelift of Honda City in India very soon. The launch maybe as early as the October 2011 as the Diwali festival season is fast approaching and the new model has already been revealed in Thailand. Earlier it was expected to make it by February 2012 in India after the Auto Expo 2012 which is scheduled for January 2012 in New Delhi, India. Honda does launch the new models at short intervals across Asian countries. The new facelift which is expected in India is a minor facelift with little touches on the front and rear bumpers, headlamps and tail lamp clusters, fog lamps, alloy wheels etc. are expected to go under the cosmetic treatment.

The Thai model of City is slightly different from what we expected in Indian model, but largely it will be same. The official studio shots of the Honda City 2011 reveal that there are minor uplifts on the exteriors, with slightly uplifted new front bumper, more wrapped front head lamps and new 8 Spoke Alloy wheels. The fog lamps and the bottom grille has also gone under some changes.

The change on the interiors seem to be more sporty looking seats, improved dashboard look and feel and a premium touch to the interior design.

The rear also features improved tail lamp design, slightly modified rear with no major noticeable changes.
