Mahindra and Mahindra will launch the compact version of their Mahindra Xylo MPV in the compact SUV / MPV segment aka Mahindra Xylo Mini by November 2012 in India (before Diwali festival season). On 8th February 2012, M&M has launched the Mahindra Xylo facelift 2012 new model in India(click here for details). This information was revealed officially during the launch of new Xylo 2012 in India. The new Xylo Mini will be a sub-4 meter car and will be placed in a segment where Premier Rio is placed as of now, an under 4 meter SUV / MPV with excise benefits of a small car in India which gives it a big cost advantage.

The Xylo Mini compact has been under tests for quite some time now and has also been spotted testing in cold weather of Europe recently. There can be two possible reasons for this – Either Mahindra plans to launch it in Europe or it is just cost weather testing in a tough environment to test the reliability of the car under extreme weather. Whatever is the reason, there is a good reason to be excited about the Xylo Mini in India after seeing the refinements and improvements brought in the new Mahindra Xylo.
