The 2023 Honda Shine 125 is now available in India. It comes with an OBD2-compliant engine and 10 years optional warranty.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched a new commuter motorcycle in the Indian market. The new 2023 Honda Shine 125 comes with a new 125 cc Fi engine that complies with OBD2 regulations.

2023 Honda Shine 125
The 2023 Honda Shine 125 features a rather conventional design with attractive body graphics and chrome highlights. There is a chrome garnished front visor, chrome muffler cover, and chrome stroke on the side covers. The updated model comes with a ground clearance of 162 mm, a 1,285 mm wheelbase, and a 651 mm long seat. An external fuel pump is fitted outside the fuel tank. Additional features include tubeless tyres, black finished alloy wheels, a DC headlamp, and black alloy wheels.
The commuter motorcycle comes with a starting price of Rs 79,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in two variants – Drum and Disc. The Disc version costs more than the Drum version. Interested customers can choose from five colour options – Black, Decent Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Geny Grey Metallic, and Rebel Red Metallic. The company is also offering a 10 years optional warranty package. This includes 3 years of standard warranty and an extended option for 7 years.

The 2023 Honda Shine 125 is powered by an OBD2-compliant 125 cc Fi engine that now complies with OBD2 regulations. It is paired with a five-speed transmission. The new bike gets Honda’s ACG starter and friction reduction techniques. It also uses the Combi-Brake System (CBS) with an equalizer. Additional highlights include a two-way functioning engine start/stop switch, a five-step adjustable rear suspension, and a seal chain. There is also an integrated headlamp beam and passing switch.

The new bike follows the company’s OBD2-spec Dio and Unicorn. Earlier this year, the company launched the Shine 100 as well.
