Kia Seltos is creating a new record every month as it now reported its highest sales since launch. Kia sold more than 14,000 units of the SUV in November.
For the month of November 2019, Kia Motors has managed to become the 4th largest carmaker in India. With the sales of Kia Seltos touching 14,005 units for November, it has managed to overtake Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Honda, Ford and many more.
In just a couple of months since its launch, the Seltos has managed to make it into the top-10 selling cars of that particular month. In the launch month, around 6200 units were sold, which came up to 7,700 in September and directly 12,800 in October.
By now, the Seltos has garnered huge fan following among us fellow Indians. It comes in three configurations – HT Line Petrol, HT Line Diesel and GT Line Turbo Petrol. All the three get different alloys, different features and different gearboxes.

Under the hood, you have 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines along with the 1.4 Litre turbocharged petrol unit, all BS-6 compliant. The petrol engine manages to produce 115 BHP and so does the diesel engine. The turbo-petrol unit produces 140 BHP.
Seltos is also the first car in India to get four transmission configurations. The 6-speed manual gearbox remains the same on all the engines. Petrol unit comes with a CVT gearbox, the diesel with a 6-speed AT and the turbo-petrol with a 7-speed DCT.
Features onboard the Seltos include, Bose 8-way speakers, electronically adjustable driver seats, 360-degree camera, tyre-pressure monitoring system, Air purifier, Heads-up Display, Wireless charging, 10.25-inch HD infotainment screen, Multiple driving modes and much more.

Safety features on the Seltos include six-airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic stability control, Vehicle stability management, Blind View Monitor, Tyre Pressure Monitor, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors with a rearview camera.
