Nissan India is celebrating one year since the launch of the Nissan Terrano, which is essentially a stylish cousin of the much acclaimed Renault Duster compact SUV. The company has launched the Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition with visual enhancements to attract more customers to the brand, the Terrano has not been able to garner as much attention as the Duster.
“The Terrano is our first compact SUV in India and the torchbearer of our SUV heritage. The response to the Terrano has been overwhelming. This limited ‘Anniversary Edition’ is an invitation to our customers to celebrate Terrano’s success,” said Mr. Guillaume Sicard, President – Nissan India Operations

What’s New?
The Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition remains similar to the standard SUV in terms of its underpinnings. Styling too has not changed inside-out. The Anniversary Edition gets some addition inside out, both in terms of style and equipment.
In terms of exterior style, changes include dual-stripes on the bonnet and blackened-out roof and door pillars. New equipment outside includes a new roof-spoiler (which is blacked-out to match the roof), side-steps, chrome door-handles and chrome garnish on the trunk-lip. An ‘Anniversary Edition’ badge finishes up the styling changes on the new SUV.
The Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition is available in five paint options – Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Fire Red, Sterling Grey and Pearl White.
Inside the Anniversary Edition gets an interesting addition. Nissan has added a heads-up display (HUD) in the Terrano Anniversary Edition which will display information like vehicle speed and time. The system can also be paired to the navigation system of a smart phone via Bluetooth to display driving directions.
