The specifics of this case stem from Car Quest on YouTube. The host gives us a detailed walkaround tour of the SUV. At the front, it gets a gloss black grille with chrome chunks on either side and a matte black element on the lower section of the bumper. On the sides, it gets 16-inch steel wheels, matte black claddings on the wheel arches, turn indicators on the fender, black ORVMs, chrome door handles, functional roof rails, etc. At the rear, there is a roof-mounted spoiler, high-mount stop lamp, split taillamp setup, sporty element on the bumper along with reflector lights.

On the inside, there are some giveaways to know that this is the base trim. This includes things like hard plastics on dashboard, centre console and door panels. The Nissan Magnite, in base trim, comes with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which makes 71 hp and 96 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing the transmission duties is either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. However, for the upper trims, there is also the option of getting this engine with a turbocharger. In that case, the power and torque outputs increase to 99 hp / 152 Nm (160 Nm with CVT), respectively. This engine pairs with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The prices start at Rs 5.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 11.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
