- Next-generation 2023 Hyundai Verna looks as large as the 5th-gen Honda City and Skoda Slavia
- Sources reveal it will launch in India in March this year
Even though the next generation Hyundai Verna didn’t make it to the ongoing Auto Expo 2023, it’s slated to launch in India in March 2023. Ahead of its official debut, though, we have a new set of images that give us the clear most look at the new sedan yet. In India, the new model will lock horns with the likes of Skoda Slavia and 5th-gen Honda City. Going by what we know so far, it definitely looks like Hyundai Motor India Ltd has a strong contender up its sleeve.

Biggest Hyundai Verna Yet
As per some images sent to us by one of our followers, the next-generation Hyundai Verna looks a lot bigger than the outgoing model. In fact, the increased dimensions should enable the sedan take on the likes of Skoda Slavia and 5th Honda City. While the test mules seen in India have been spotted wearing heavy camouflage, the latest sighting in South Korea has revealed some unmasked bits of the vehicle. With this, it’s by now quite apparent that the new model would be a mini-me Elantra in the side profile. The fresh images even give us a clear look at the trendy multi-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels.
From the looks of it, the next generation Hyundai Verna would benefit from Sensuous Sportiness design theme that even governs the aesthetics of the latest Creta. This would result into a sharp front-end with a wide grille and sleek LED headlamps. At the rear, the wrap-around LED taiilamps will be connected together by an LED strip running between them. Earlier sightings have even revealed a bit of the interior with the new car featuring an all-digital instrumentation like the one seen in the Tucson. Other features of the cabin would include Bluelink, electric sunroof, Level 1 ADAS, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, cooled seats and ambient lights.
