The next-generation Hyundai Creta is going to launch in India sometime during the first half of 2020 with BS-Vi engine options.
The next-generation iteration of the Hyundai Creta has been revealed. The same is going to launch in India next year. The new version of this compact SUV features a number of different changes.
The front of the car is base on Hyundai’s new design language. It takes its design inspiration from the flagship Palisade SUV. The LED daytime running lamps sits above the main headlamp unit.
The side profile does remind you of the current generation of the Creta. However, the new one comes with subtle design changes. For instance, it comes with a prominent crease on the rear fender. Similarly, the front fender also comes with some aggressive design attributes.
The rear of the new Creta is also very unique. It follows a similar pattern to the front profile. The tail-lamp runs across the boot-lid. It is flanked on the edges by auxiliary rear lamps.
The inside of the new Creta is a whole new affair. The design is all-new. The layout looks premium. The steering wheel design is the same as seen on the Venue. The centre console comes with a large touchscreen system.
The colour scheme is black and off-white. This is likely to make it way to India. However, the exterior design could feature some changes to make it look a bit more aggressive for the Indian market.
The current generation Hyundai Creta sold in India is quite identical to its Chinees counterpart. However, there could be some changes this time around.
It is too early to comment on the engine specifications of the new Creta. However, there have been speculations that it will get a set of new 1.5-litre unit, both for petrol and diesel.
Transmission options will include a manual as well as an automatic option. When the new Hyundai Creta comes to India in 2020, it will get a 5-seater and a 7-seater variant.
