Maruti eVX is a concept EV that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 held in India earlier this year.
The next-gen Maruti Brezza has been rendered taking inspiration from the eVX concept. It represents the future of electric cars by Maruti Suzuki. Every carmaker is revealing its future strategy to electrify its portfolio. Maruti Suzuki might have been slightly late to this party but it is arriving nonetheless. At the moment, it is focusing on strong hybrid as it believes that the transition phase will pass through hybrid powertrains. But it will finally reach the stage where pure EVs will be the only way forward. For those times, the eVX concept is what it will offer.

Next-gen Maruti Brezza Based on eVX
This digital iteration has been rendered by SRK Designs on YouTube. It captures a unique version of the next-gen Brezza where the design is a fusion between the eVX concept and the existing Brezza compact SUV. At the front, there are distinct LED DRLs that are finished in a modern fashion on the bonnet and extend down onto the bumper, sleek LED headlamps, narrow grille area with gloss black materials, rugged skid plate, sporty bumper and an upright bonnet.

On the sides, one could see the sharp crease running to the back of the SUV, stylish and elegant alloy wheels, black side body skirtings, charging socket on the fender, chunky wheel arches, functional roof rails, black A and B pillars and a muscular rear profile. The tail section of the SUV is not visible which is sad. In any case, digital renditions like these are hard to find as one gets to experience their regular car in a different guise.

What We Think
In all honesty, we are appreciative of such digital automobile designers who come up with such interesting illustrations of regular cars. This gives us a refreshing perspective on our daily cars. In fact, many people take inspiration from such concepts in order to modify their cars. However, one must be careful with such things since these could be problematic in real life. Firstly, most modifications are illegal in India. Secondly, in the digital realm, the issues with fit and finish and cost don’t arise. But in reality, one has to take care of all those things.
