The compact SUV segment is extremely competitive and growing rapidly
The next-gen Hyundai Venue has been digitally imagined ahead of the year-end debut. In its class, there are some pretty compelling products on offer. These include the likes of Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV3XO, etc. Hence, it becomes clear that the Korean carmaker needs to be sharp with the Venue to continue its dominance in this space. While the existing Venue is already feature-laden, the next-gen model will certainly up the ante. For now, let us check out the virtual rendition of the next-gen Hyundai Venue.
Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Visualized
We were able to commission these digital renditions by drawing inspiration from the latest global Hyundai design philosophy. There are 4 colours on offer – Red, Black, Orange and White. At the front, we see a connected LED strip which runs across the width of the car. These culminate in sleek LED DRLs on the extreme edges of the bonnet. Down below, we see the vertically-stacked LED projector headlamps flanking a colossal grille section finished in gloss black material. Underneath the bumper, there is a rugged skid plate, which accentuates the adventurous traits of the compact SUV.
On the sides, the overall silhouette is similar to the current-gen model. Still, we are able to get a glimpse of 5-spoke alloy wheels, black A and B-pillars, sturdy roof rails, prominent wheel arches and black side body cladding. Unfortunately, we couldn’t witness the tail section. In any case, we can expect the connected light bar joining the taillamps, as on the existing model. On the inside, the next-gen Hyundai Venue will definitely bear some modern tech and convenience amenities to pamper the occupants. Also, it will most likely continue with similar powertrains.
My View
As the number of products in this category increases, carmakers need to ensure that their vehicles offer the best in terms of affordability, features, tech, safety, etc. Venue has been an all-rounder in this regard since its inception. That is why it is among the most successful compact SUVs in the country. Going forward, the Korean auto giant will need to keep it fresh to attract new buyers. Let us wait for more details in the coming months.
