Hyundai Creta is known as ix25 for the international markets. The next-generation SUV has been spotted testing in Korea in full flesh.
Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUVs in India and is the best-selling in its segment. It received a mild update recently which gave it new features and visual upgrades.
The next-generation Creta (ix25) has now been spotted in Korea and was 2018 shown at the Shanghai Auto Show. It will replace the old ix25 in the international markets.
The spotted test mule appears to be a mid-spec variant, because of the missing sunroof and contrast display.

At the front, it uses a larger Cascading Grille that is now seen on Venue and Palisade SUVs. You can spot the split headlamps with the upper sleek LED headlamp and projector lamps with DRLs below it. The front bumper houses the fog lamps.
Unlike its rounded silhouette now, the new Hyundai Creta (ix25) gets a squared design. The wheel arches now adapt the squared design. The alloy wheels seems to be borrowed from the Hyundai Venue, but in a larger size.
The rear portion of the SUV is now edgy, making it look a bit boxy. The split LED tail lamps are also equipped on the back, with a slim LED brake light running above the boot handle.

The features onboard will be nearly same, with the possible addition of Blue Link technology, which comes on Venue Compact SUV. Hyundai Creta (ix25) is already one of the most equipped SUVs under Rs 15 Lakhs.
There are reports also suggesting that Hyundai might launch the next-gen Creta in 5-seater as well as 7-seater configurations. That way, it would further compete against Tata Hexa and Toyota Innova Crysta.
