The next-gen Audi Q3 features fresh new styling, completely new interiors with tons more features but similar set of engines with some minor upgrades to them.
Audi India has confirmed that the next-gen Audi Q3 will be launched here in India in the first quarter of 2020. This confirmation comes barely a month after Audi announced the launch time-frame for the next-gen Audi A6 and A8 sedans. Both these cars will be launched in India in September and December respectively.
As for the next-gen Q3, it was debuted at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The next-gen 2020 Audi Q3 has evolved greatly over its predecessor. It features a bold new design that is more in line with the rest of the family design. The face of the new Q3 features a new octagonal single frame grille with new triangular and larger air dams. The face is much more sculpted and looks much sharper and smarter than before.
It 2020 Audi Q3 also gets a new headlamp design that is has the newer look found in all new Audi cars. The side profile of the car remains largely similar but it gets new set of wheels. At the rear, it gets an integrated spoiler and Q8 inspired LED tail lights. The next-gen Audi Q3 has also grown in dimensions than its predecessor.

As for the inside, well, that has changed completely too. The current-gen interiors have really started to show their age and thankfully, Audi has completely revamped the interiors. It gets a new dashboard layout which is dominated by a large touchscreen infotainment system, new climate control stack, new positioning of the AC vents, new steering wheels and also Audi’s virtual cockpit and a number of driver assistance programs such as adaptive cruise control, park assist, lane departure warning and side assist. The interiors are completely new and a very welcome change indeed.

The next-gen Audi Q3 is available with four different engines options internationally. There’s the base 1.5-litre 35 TFSI engine which produces 150bhp and 250Nm of torque while the 2.0-litre 40 TFSI engine produces 190bhp and 340Nm of torque. The top-spec 45 TFSI petrol engine produces 230bhp with 350Nm. The 35 TDI diesel motors on the other hand puts out 150bhp with 340Nm of torque. It remains to be what engine options Audi introduces the 2020 Q3 with in India.
