Vespa is going to add a new variant in the LX125 range. Urban Club 125 is reportedly launching soon in India with some minor visual differences from LX125.
Piaggio is planning to launch new variants with the Vespa and Aprillia very soon. The former brand name is reportedly getting a new variant going by the name of Urban Club 125.
IAB reports that the new variant is priced at Rs 74,500 (ex-showroom). It is based on the LX125 but gets different colour options and minor styling differences. Other things remain the same.
The Urban Club 125 might be launched anytime soon, as it is expected to reach the dealerships in the next two weeks.

The new Vespa scooter gets matte paint job. The headlamp will be chrome detailed, just like the LX125. The alloy wheels, front fender garnish and the rear view mirror covering get blacked out treatment. A black borderline also comes on the front apron.
The basic styling will be the same of LX125. It will continue with the 124.6cc air-cooled engine that produces 9.76 BHP and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox.
Urban Club 125 will get Combined-Braking System as a standard fitment. Braking will be handled by drum brakes at both the end, without an option of a disc brake.
The suspension setup also remains the same with a one-sided hydraulic arm at the front and shock absorber at the back.

Features onboard will the same as found on other Vespa scooters. It includes the iconic retro styling, alloy wheels, grab rail classy analogue speedometer and a front apron.
Like the LX125, the Urban Club 125 will go against the likes of Honda Grazia, Suzuki Burgman Street, Aprilia SR125 and TVS Ntorq 125.
