Tata Motors has been in the news for introducing the facelifted iterations of the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs. The production of both the vehicles has been underway and recently, we even reported that the first batch has started reaching the dealerships. Now, the carmaker has commenced the deliveries to the owners. Here is a video that shows a buyer of the new Tata Safari taking the delivery of her brand-new SUV. The price range for a new Safari facelift begins at Rs 16.19 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 25.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

New Tata Safari Delivery
The video of the delivery of the new Tata Safari comes from Auto Updates on YouTube. The footage shows a customer present at a dealership to take the delivery of her brand-new SUV. There is a small celebration as she cuts a cake before the cloth covering the vehicle is taken off. The unveiling reveals the Cosmic Gold Tata Safari and a mock key is handed over to the customer as a part of the delivery process. In fact, the new SUV looks stunning in this particular paint shade. Meanwhile, the new styling package ensures the is Safari one of the most modern-looking offerings around. The front-end features a sportier bumper, a new grille and a sleek light bar running between the LED DRLs. In profile, the SUV gets a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear-end gets a LED light bar running between the LED taillights.
Inside, the Safari gets various new bits. The front seats come equipped with ventilation, a new touchscreen infotainment displa, a new four-spoke steering wheel featuring control buttons and an illuminated Tata emblem at its core, a textured dashboard incorporating integrated AC vents, a 360-degree camera system, a touch panel for HVAC control, and a host of other features.

Both the Harrier and Safari have retained the powertrains from their previous iterations. So, these SUVs continue to employ the familiar 2.0-liter Kryotec turbo diesel engine. The Fiat-sourced oil-burner continues to deliver 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This powerplant offers the choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a torque converter automatic transmission. Furthermore, they come equipped with terrain response capabilities and a variety of drive modes. It’s important to note that a turbo petrol engine is in the pipeline. In the market, the Harrier and Safari encounter competition from rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Jeep Compass.
