Ahead of the grand unveiling next month, the interiors of new Tata Altroz have been revealed. The hatchback will go against Baleno, i20, Jazz and Glanza.

Continuing, the interiors of the new Tata Altroz have been revealed. Inside the cabin, you get a grey-black dual-tone theme. Unlike the earlier speculations, the dashboard design of Altroz is way too different than the Tiago. Although, the centre console is a bit similar to the Nexon.
The Altroz gets a flat-bottom steering wheel with steering-mounted audio and phone controls. In the centre, you have floating touchscreen infotainment similar to the Nexon. Below that, you have the buttons for music and calls, AC knobs and other bits.

Further, the Altroz will also get a semi-digital instrument console as well. Surrounding the AC vents you can spot the gold finish and brushed silver finish around the gearbox. It will also get centre armrest, dual-cup holders, two USB ports for front as well as rear and rear AC vents.
Under the hood, the new Tata Altroz is likely to get a 1.2 Litre petrol unit and a 1.5 Litre diesel engine. The petrol unit on Tiago produces 84 BHP and 114 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine will come from Nexon, which puts out 110 BHP and 270 Nm of torque.
It is also expected to get the 1.2 Litre turbo-petrol unit from the Tiago JTP. The engine produces 115 BHP, which is powerful than the one on Nexon. Further, the transmission options available will include a 5-speed MT and an AT gearbox, which will come later.

We are expecting the prices of Altroz to stay between Rs 6 Lakhs to Rs 9 Lakhs (ex-showroom) since it will be BS-6 compliant at the time of launch.
