Test models of the upcoming Suzuki Swift have already been spotted on European roads. New reports claim that the official launch is likely to happen this year itself.

As per recent reports, the all-new Suzuki Swift will be officially available in October 2023. The initial sales will begin in the Asian markets. This includes Japan and India. It will reach other global markets by the end of this year. The upcoming car has been spotted with new design elements and seems ready to enter the production stage. It will feature significant changes over the fifth-generation Suzuki Swift. Let’s take a closer look.
2024 Suzuki Swift Design
The new model features a more squatted stance. It is likely to sport a wider front grille with sleeker headlamps and tail lamps. On the side, the upcoming hatchback gets fewer curves. It also lacks the C-pillar black tape that offers the floating roof look in the current version. On the back, the bulkier haunches behind the fenders offer a wider look to the car. The rear window panels also seem bigger which makes the cabin seem more spacious. Additionally, the upcoming model has been spotted with more upright pillars. The rear door handles are mounted on the door panels.

The upcoming model is also expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder K12C Dualjet petrol engine that produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. For transmission, it will come with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. Additional features will include a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, a wireless charger, and six airbags. The new Swift is likely to borrow some new features from the latest Baleno and Brezza models.
