The India spec 2020 Hyundai i20 will come with newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels, all LED lamps, and a new digital instrument cluster on the inside as well.
The third generation Hyundai i20 is just around the corner now and it has been spied in almost production-ready form again in India. Some fresh spy shots have emerged on the second sighting of the 2020 Hyundai i20 in India, and while its still heavily camouflaged, the new shots reveal some new details about this upcoming hatchback from Hyundai.
As can be seen from these new images, the next-gen Hyundai i20 gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It also gets revised LED tail lamps and as we had reported earlier, the number plate housing has now been positioned on the bumper instead of the tail-gate as in the current i20. An earlier spy shot of the i20 also revealed that the new car could even come with a sunroof. We expect all these elements to make it to the final production model.
We have also seen the face of the i20 from earlier spy shots of the international-spec i20 where the car was seen with a wide cascading grille, new LED headlamps and a completely revised front bumper as well. There are no interior shots of the India-spec 2020 Hyundai i20. However, recently, an interior shot of the Euro-spec model surfaced on the internet and that showed us that the 2020 i20 gets a rather funky looking all-digital instrument cluster, a big floating infotainment system and a sleek three-spoke steering wheel.
It is also expected to come with with features like BlueLink connected car tech, cruise control, climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers as well as lane hold assist. The last feature will however not make it to India as it relies on radar technology and that’s banned on Indian highways.
