The new Renault Duster Facelift has now been launched in India, for a starting price of Rs 7.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and gets new features onboard.
After being speculation for a long time, Renault has launched the Duster Facelift in India. The prices and engines remain unchanged, but it gets cosmetic upgrades and 25 new features onboard.
On the outside, it gets a new full chrome grille, a dual tone front bumper, new skid plates, projector headlamps with LED DRls and new Diamond Cut Alloys. It further comes in new colours – Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown.
Inside the cabin, you get Midnight Black treatment and soft touch buttons. The instrument cluster is also revised and now gets ice-blue graphics with the same MID between the dials.

It continue with the 1.5 Litre petrol and the 1.5 Litre diesel engine, with BS-4 compliance. The petrol engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed CVT gearbox. The diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AMT. The base-spec diesel variant gets a 5-speed transmission.
The 1.5 Litre petrol engine produces 106 BHP and 142 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine comes in two tunes, producing 85 BHP and 200 Nm and 110 BHP and 240 Nm, respectively, It further gets an AWD system onboard.
New Features onboard include a 17.64cm touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Recognition and EcoGuide, Cruise Control, Speed Limiter, ARKAMYS Speakers, Fully auto-climate control and cooled glovebox as some highlights.
Safety features onboard include ABS with EBD, driver and passenger airbags, Rear Parking Sensors, Seat Belt Reminder and Speed Alert as standard fitments. The top-spec variants with a reverse parking camera, ESP and Hill-Start Assist.

The size of the duster remains unchanged, but the ground clearance for the AWD was gone up by 5mm, to 210mm. The boot space is also smaller on the AWD variant, at 410 litres. The fuel tank capacity of the new Renault Duster is 50 litre.
It will continue to rival the likes of Nissan Terrano, Nissan Kicks, Mahindra TUV300 and Hyundai Creta. With this, we expect the sales of Duster to slightly improve, as for the past few months, it was selling below average.
