New Renault Duster packs some cosmetic changes and some updated features and interiors on the inside. Let’s have a look!
The rising SUV trend in the Indian market has led to many manufacturers bringing in cars that suit the need of buyers. And for the already established SUVs, carmakers usually offer a facelift to stay in the race with its rivals. Similar strategy Renault India is applying by launching the new Duster this year.
For starters, it is not the second-gen Duster but will mostly come with a facelift. The SUV will see some cosmetic changes and the biggest upgrade will be under the hood. The new Renault Duster has been spotted at Leh-Srinagar Highway and we tell you five things you should be knowing about the car.
Exteriors
At first glance, one might notice the triple slat grille of the SUV which is notably larger than before. The chrome inserts make the car look agile and the big Renault badge is placed in between. It also gets a restyled bumper to meet the latest safety norms along with a brand new chunkier bumper.
It also gets reworked headlight which now comes with LED daytime running lights and projectors. The rear profile of the car gets black plastic cladding on the tailgate and the side sees roof rails. It also sits on new alloy wheels.

Interiors
Not much has been changed on the inside and the car gets the similar size touchscreen infotainment unit but now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. Round AC vents on the centre console are replaced by the rectangular frame.
You can also spot a new steering wheel which now comes with cruise control. The new age steering wheel is seen on newer Renault cars and is expected to be seen on the upcoming Renault Triber. Also, on the co-passenger side, there is a blue insert on the dashboard design, hinting a subtle change. Furthermore, there is a chrome surround placed above the similar three circular units of the instrument cluster.
Features
New Renault Duster will have automatic climate control, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, multi-function steering wheel, voice command, reverse camera and LED projector headlamps with DRLs as some features.
