Mercedes Benz India has launched the new Mercedes M Class in India on 15th May 2012 in New Delhi India. The new M Class has been launched with a Limited Edition 1 M Class car SUVs which will be only 100 in numbers and will come with AMG features including special upholstery and features. The new Mercedes Benz M Class Edition 1 has been priced at Rs. 66 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi while the ML350 CDI Bridging edition is priced at Rs. 56.9 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
The M Class is known for its power, agility and luxury, this is the third generation of the M Class and delivers high performance with superior fuel efficiency and modern looks. The New M Class has an aggressive stance which emphasizes on its off-road capabilities along with a comfortable on-road capabilities. The core strengths of the M Class remain to be its safety, comfort, quality and performance. It is designed on the new Mercedes Design language which makes it look sleek yet aggressive. It offers safety features like ABS, ESP and TCS which some in Handy when off-roading the M Class, these features can be turned on or off on the press of a button.
The new M Class also has high safety features like 9 airbags to protect all the occupants of the car in case of an accident or collision, it also incorporates Mercedes Pre-Safe technology which helps to prevent accidents. For fuel economy improvements, it has the start-stop micro hybrid system which will automatically turn off the engine if the vehicle is stopped for long in traffic or at signals. There are features like attention assist by Mercedes which is quite unique and alerts the driver if the car detects that the driver is sleepy or drowsy. It comes with park assist technology which makes it very convenient to park the new M Class.
It has Airmatic Air suspension for high comfort, 20 Inch AMG alloy wheels, Leather interiors and spare wheel.
