New Maruti Swift in Real-World Conditions
This post comes from スズキアリーナ神奈川南 on YouTube. It captures a red Swift parked at a public place. The host offers a walkaround tour of the new model in the flesh. The new Swift mostly keeps the same shape as the old one in the front, but with small changes to the headlight design. It now includes LED daytime running lights within the headlights. The front grille is wider, and the bumper is redesigned, giving it a sportier appearance with a hint of a skid plate, although it lacks fog lights. On the sides, it showcases stylish new alloy wheels, black pillars with a chrome strip, and a profile similar to the current model. Moving to the back, the LED taillights sport a new look, while the trunk and bumper remain largely unchanged. Overall, the upcoming Swift won’t see too many drastic changes in its design.

Specs
Exciting changes are underway as the Swift prepares to introduce a new engine, departing from the usual K Series engine found in Swift and other Maruti cars. The upcoming Z Series engine offers various versions. The one unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder hybrid engine, promising an impressive mileage of around 30-35 km/l. While the power remains similar to the current model, there’s a noticeable increase in torque, delivering a more thrilling performance at lower speeds. However, due to cost concerns, it’s unlikely that this engine will be featured in the Indian version. Instead, we might see the new Z-Series engine equipped with mild hybrid technology.
