The new Maruti Swift has been spotted in a unique cool Yellow paint. The largest carmaker in the country finally launched the all-new fourth-generation Swift in our market just a few days ago. This iconic hatchback has already been launched in many international markets in recent months. Hence, people were eagerly waiting to experience the new Swift in India. Interestingly, the new Swift comes with tons of modern safety, convenience and connectivity features along with a new engine. Here are the details.
New Maruti Swift in Cool Yellow Paint
This post comes from shota0306m on Instagram. The photos capture the new Swift in this unique yellow paint shade. I feel that this colour looks closer to lemon or green rather than yellow. Still, if this Swift were to appear on the road, it would definitely make heads turn. We know that such colours are not common at all. Hence, if you are someone who likes to stand apart from the crowd without going for extensive modifications, simply buying the hatchback in this colour will do the job. You won’t come across the similar-coloured Swift all that often. In any case, this colour is available for international markets only and not on the Indian-spec Swift.
Specs
The new Maruti Swift comes with a new engine. It is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E unit with a 12V mild hybrid technology which is good for 82 PS and 112 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties rely on either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. However, the biggest talking point of this new Swift is its 25.75 kmpl mileage in the AMT and 24.80 kmpl in the manual version. The prices range from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh, ex-showroom.

Our View
Owning a car in an uncommon colour is the best way to make it stand out from the crowd. A lot of car owners approach the aftermarket car modification houses to get tons of new components to their vehicles to draw the attention of the onlookers. However, I must mention that most car customizations are illegal in India. Therefore, going for a colour change is the only valid option. Still, even that needs a nod from the RTO and there are some formalities involved. If you get a stock option of a unique colour, it takes care of all the legalities.
