Digital artists possess a unique tendency to think of creative ways of altering the appearance of a regular car to make it special
I recently came across a rather beautiful rendition of the new Maruti Dzire as a low-slung performance car. Dzire is the highest-selling sedan in the country. With application among private, as well as commercial fleet operators, the sales have been through the roof ever since its inception back in 2008. Currently in its 4th-generation avatar, the Dzire boasts impressive feats including a full 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP and a modern design language with new features and a fresh powertrain. For now, let us check it out in a different light.
New Maruti Dzire as a Low-Slung Performance Car
These attractive images stem from zephyr_designz on Instagram. The artist has gone into incredible depths to create this model. At the front, it gets the sleek LED DRLs integrated inside the compact LED headlamp cluster along with a custom vented hood. The gloss black grille panel between the headlights look sporty along with a massive grille down below. It is flanked by fresh wide aero fenders with the lower end of the bumper almost caressing the ground. Moving down the sides highlights the widebody kit which extends the fender section out of the body proportions.
There are colossal alloy wheels which the artist says are Brixton Forged PF6 wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R’s. This is racing car territory. The black side pillars and window frames suit the overall demeanour of the car well. Finally, the tail section possesses a shark fin antenna, a custom ducktail wing, a high-mounted spoiler, a quad exhaust, a prominent diffuser, LED taillamps connected via a chrome belt and much more. Overall, this has to be among the best-designed virtual renditions of the new Maruti Dzire I have experienced to date.
My View
I appreciate the level of customization digital artists are able to demonstrate. It represents their creativity and skill. The new Dzire is all the rage at the moment in the Indian automobile market. Hence, I am not surprised to see artists using it as a blank canvas to showcase their talent. Also, such virtual illustrations help us to break the monotony and witness a mass-market car in completely different settings. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
