- Brezza is the only 4-star rated product in Maruti’s India stable.
- It has proven its value time and again in real-life incidents.
- However, the current-gen model has not been crash-tested by GNCAP.
This latest instance of a Maruti Brezza getting involved in an accident due to a tyre burst points to a decent safety rating. Note that the model that got the 4-star GNCAP safety rating was the last-gen model. Maruti has updated it after that which means that we don’t know the exact rating of the existing Brezza yet. Nevertheless, there have been some crashes of the new Brezza indicating a rugged build quality. This latest incident is one such case.

Damage to Vehicle
Talking about the damage to the vehicle, the dents are quite prominent indicating that it could have been a high-speed impact. The glass from the windshield is seen broken on the road, and there are heavy dents on the body of the SUV as well. What is even more unfortunate is the fact that it was a brand-new car and didn’t even have a permanent number. The ribbons on the door handles are still visible. But we must appreciate the build quality of the Brezza due to which the passengers made it through. Do share your thoughts about this Maruti Brezza tyre burst accident with us.
