We come across horrific road accidents on a daily basis and overspeeding is almost always the most prominent reason.
In this latest video, the new Maruti Brezza is seen completely totalled after a horrendous crash with a truck. Brezza (last-gen) is the safest car in Maruti’s India portfolio. It received a decent 4-star safety rating at the GCAP. However, the crash test of the new model has not happened yet. But it is a facelift model which means that there won’t be changes to the mechanicals. Hence, one could expect it to fare well on the crash test. Let us take a look at this terrible incident.

Maruti Brezza and Truck Crash
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. He regularly posts such content to make people aware of the importance of buying cars with high safety ratings. As per the information in the video, this crash is reported from Bilga village in Ludhiana. The YouTuber mentions that the compact SUV was travelling during the night. At a junction, it collided with a truck that was taking a left turn. The exact details of this are not available. Nevertheless, the lack of visibility during the night and overspeeding seem to be the main causes.

There are no details of the condition of the passengers. However, looking at the status of the compact SUV, it would be a miracle if the passengers are able to make it out alive. Nevertheless, we would certainly hope that they survive. The entire front section, side pillars, bonnet, bumpers, door panels, windshields and the roof are in a total loss condition. This certainly looks like a high-speed collision. We don’t know who is at fault though.

Obey Traffic Rules
We would like to draw your attention to the importance of following traffic rules and preventing overspeeding at all costs.
