New Maruti Brezza Subscription Scheme
The subscription service model is still very new in India. It essentially allows customers to drive home a car without any down payment. You can simply pay an all-inclusive monthly fee (covers complete maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance). The plan comes with tenure options of 24, 36, and 48 months. After this period, you can opt to extend, upgrade the vehicle, or buy the car at market price. You can choose from two number plate options – a white number plate with the customer’s name hypothecate to the leasing company and a black number plate registered in the leasing company’s name.
The new scheme is aimed at customers on the move. It removes the hassle of buying and selling a car every two-three years. The zero-down payment is an additional highlight. However, it is to be noted that the subscription does not come cheap. For example, the total subscription fee (period of three years) of the Maruti Suzuki Swift Lxi is approximately Rs 5.60 lakh. This amount will be fairly similar to the on-road price of the car. In the coming years, the used and returned cars might be offered by the companies in a cheaper used car subscription service.
