For the sales of June 2019, KTM reports having sold 614 units of the newly launched RC 125. The baby sportsbike is priced at Rs 1.47 Lakhs.
KTM just launched the RC125 in India, as the smallest capacity fully faired motorcycle. Priced at Rs 1.47 Lakhs (ex-showroom), it is costlier than the more powerful R15 V3. It is also priced around Rs 17,000 more than the Duke 125.
For the month of June 2019, the sales of KTM RC 125 stood at 614 units. FYI, the bike was launched on 19th June, and it has garnered this figure in just 11 days of its launch.
The deliveries of of the bike commenced in 2-3 days itself. The booking amount for the same is set for Rs 5,000. As said earlier, it competes with the prices of Yamaha R15 V3 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.

Comparing it to R15 V3, the Yamaha machine makes over 5000 units a month. With time to come, KTM RC 125 will also bring good sales to company, but not as much as the R15 V3.
RC125 uses the same engine of the Duke 125, a 124.6cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 14.5 BHP at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The top speed achievable on the RC 125 is 115 km/hr. With a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and an estimated mileage of 45 kmpl, it can deliver a riding range of upto 450 kms on a full tank.
Suspension is handled by WP USD forks at the front and a 10-step pre-load adjustable WP monoshock at the back. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the ends with a single-channel ABS.

Features onboard include halogen lamps, LED DRLs, low-positioned clip-on handlebars, splits seats, LED DRls ,LED tail lights and a fully digital instrument console (the one on other RC models).
RC 125 is available in two colour options – Black/Orange and White/Orange. The styling of the motorcycle remains the same as seen on the bigger RC models.
