What We Think
Most road accidents take place in India due to drivers not following traffic regulations. Overtaking from the left side is prohibited. Still, a lot of drivers adopt this practice. The extreme right lane is designed to be the lane to overtake. But sometimes, trucks and buses are seen driving on that side. That propels car drivers to quickly overtake from the left side. But that is not the correct way and can lead to serious accidents. In this case, however, it looks like even the truck driver was careless and didn’t see the car before making the left cut. We urge our readers to not disregard traffic protocols. That is the only way to enhance road safety.
