Sportier, Stronger Performance
The Venue offers a 1.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine that comes mated to a 2nd-gen 7-speed DCT. In comparison, the Nexon’s petro motor has slightly lesser torque and is mated to a relatively basic 6-speed AMT. Even the Sonet misses out on the latest 7-speed DCT. The updated DCT is the sportiest transmission among these which makes it a great vehicle for driving enthusiasts. In addition to the strong performance, it even optimizes fuel efficiency. What’s even better is that the new Venue offers drive modes to help drivers fine-tune the performance as per usage conditions.

Tech Laden
While Hyundai products have always been tech-laden, the new Venue takes things to a whole new level. There are myriad segment-first features including rear-seat reclining, 4-way powered driver seat, Sounds of Nature custom ambient music playback, embedded voice commands that could be used even without the internet, Home to Car (H2C) connectivity using Alexa and Google Home Assistant, and a lot more. Since these are all segment-first features, you wouldn’t find them on the Nexon and Sonet or even on any other vehicle in this segment!

Connectivity
In this age, connectivity is what the MZ audience is attracted towards. Keeping that in mind, the 2022 Hyundai Venue comes with an updated Bluelink connected car suite with over 60 functions, a Multi-Lingual User Interface (UI) with 10 regional and 2 international languages, multiple user profiles for a personalized experience, Over-the-Air updates for maps and infotainment system, smartphone connectivity and much more. In comparison, the iRA Connected Car Tech application of Tata Motors comes with just 27 features, while the UVO Connected Car Tech of Kia Sonet has 58 functions. Both the vehicles even miss out on the regional language support.

Safer
With a high focus on safety, Hyundai has always pushed the envelope by equipping its cars with the segment-best safety equipment. Like its predecessor, even the latest Hyundai Venue comes with 6 airbags, while the Tata Nexon comes with only 2 airbags. The side and curtain airbags provide enhanced protection in the case of an unfortunate incident. Having 6 airbags offers peace of mind to the occupants on the challenging roads in our country.

Roomier
The cabin space in the new Hyundai Venue is quite liberated compared to the Nexon and Sonet. In fact, the new Venue’s rear cabin space is now comparable to some costlier models. The sense of roominess in the new Venue has been greatly enhanced, while even the rear seat is the most comfortable in its class. With most compact SUVs compromising either the rear space or the boot space (in some cases, even both!), the Hyundai Venue stands a class apart by offering a no-compromise package. Not only do the rear occupants enjoy plenty of legroom and shoulder room, the boot space, at 350 liters, will surprise you with the amount of luggage it can swallow.
