The launch of the all-new Hyundai Tucson is just around the corner and the real-life images of the production-spec model have been doing rounds on the internet.
The new Hyundai Tucson is being prepared for the launch on July 13 and we have the first real-life video of the flagship SUV. Hyundai is amidst updating almost its entire portfolio of products in India since late last year. The recent addition to this list is the Venue compact SUV. There are also reports of the Creta about to get an upgrade and the Tucson is already here. Let us check out what the new-age Tucson brings with it in terms of exterior styling.

New Hyundai Tucson Launch

Nevertheless, we could clearly see the latest design pattern that has been carried from the international model. At the front, the Tucson comes with the trademark Parametric Grille finished in dark chrome, the LED DRLs are seamlessly integrated into the design pattern, the headlamps are positioned on the bumper down below, and there is a bold chrome/silver strip running across the width of the SUV above the skid plate.

The side profile is dominated by a ton of characteristic creases, square wheel arches, dual-tone machined alloy wheels, chrome garnish above the windows, sturdy side skirting along with the flowing roof effect. The rear end is quite attractive with a sleek light bar running the width of the SUV connecting the LED taillamps that are sharp and have a wraparound presence, there are utilitarian roof rails, a shark fin antenna, an integrated roof spoiler, and the skid plate at the rear completes the typical SUV stance.

Specs
While there is no official confirmation, it is most likely that the new Hyundai Tucson will come powered by a 2.0-litre CRDi turbo diesel engine that produces a healthy 185 PS and 400 Nm and a 2.0-litre petrol engine that also powers the Alcazar and develops 159 PS and 191 Nm of peak power and torque. As far as the transmission options go, the petrol variant might come with a 6-speed automatic and the diesel version might come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The current-gen Tucson ranges between Rs 22.69 lakh and Rs 27.47 lakh, ex-showroom. The upcoming version will command a premium over these prices.
