This is particularly true from the front. However, there are subtle changes to the Parametric Grille design and headlamps. Apart from that, the bumper is also slightly tweaked. On the sides, the alloy wheels are elegant and new. The side body panels and rear profile remain almost identical to the outgoing model. Still, there are enough customizations to know that this is a new model.

Interior and Features
The inside of the premium SUV from Hyundai will also bear some new elements. Specs
While Hyundai has not made any official announcements regarding powertrain options, we anticipate the continuation of existing engines. These comprise the 2.0-litre petrol engine, producing 156 PS and 192 Nm, and the 2.0-litre diesel engine, delivering 186 PS and 416 Nm of peak power and torque. The former will bear a 6-speed automatic, while the latter features an 8-speed automatic transmission. The diesel variant will additionally have an HTRAC all-wheel-drive configuration for occasional off-road excursions. Further details will be revealed as the launch date approaches.

The premium mid-size SUV segment is slowly gaining popularity in the Indian market. However, the competition in and around this segment has increased manifold in the last few years. In fact, the buyers even get the option of going for proper 7-seat SUVs with off-roading capabilities. In that sense, the rivals are plenty. However, I feel that the Tucson has a totally different applicantion and audience. It caters to those who are looking for the utmost interior comfort and connectivity. They might go on occasional off-roading excursions. But they will mostly use it in the cities. In that sense, it is bound to attract buyers.
