New Hyundai Small SUV Specifications
As per reports on the web, the upcoming mini SUV from Hyundai is being considered for the A-segment. Last year, Eui-sun Chung, Vice Chairman, Hyundai said that the company is planning to develop an A-segment SUV by the year 2020. Hyundai’s plan is to develop the upcoming SUV to target the Renaut Kwid and would be the cheapest SUV from the automaker. The i10’s revival is expected around the end of the decade which is similar to that of the upcoming SUV. We expect Hyundai to share the platform and other parts between the two decreasing the final cost of both the upcoming vehicles while increasing the company’s profit.
Hyundai is not the only player trying to take the A-segment buyers with a surprise of an SUV. Several other automakers are also going to launch their respective vehicles in the segment. Maruti is one of the segment leaders, is planning to introduce an SUV to challenge the Renaut Kwid. Volkswagen will also be bringing in their mini-SUV reported being named ‘VW T-Track’.
